Intentional Living

A little corner. A slower kind of Sunday.

Creating space to read, reflect, and return to what matters.

You do not need another room

A chair by a window can be enough. The aim is to make it easy to pause in the home you already have. Choose somewhere reasonably comfortable, with light that lets you read without straining.

Remove the small interruptions

Leave your phone somewhere else for a while. Put the book you want to read within reach. A notebook can hold the thoughts that would otherwise send you back to a screen.

A rhythm rather than a rule

Some Sundays allow a whole afternoon; others offer ten quiet minutes. A useful practice should accommodate your life. Read a page, pray, write a few lines or simply sit with your tea. The time does not need to produce anything.

Let rest be ordinary

Rest is not a reward for having finished every task. There will always be another drawer to organise. Making room to stop is one way of caring for the time and energy you have been given.
